Calling Quebec Startups!Powered by Cycle Momentum, an international accelerator and open innovation platform, the Climate Startup Equity Prize supports Québec-based climate-tech startups by providing non-dilutive prizes, investor exposure, and structured access to the climate innovation ecosystem, helping promising solutions advance toward real-world deployment.
EligibilityThe prize of $400,000 will be awarded to two (2) winners, in recognition of their innovative solutions that will help fight our climate crisis:
1) $150,000 will be awarded to a startup at the pre-seed stage in the form of an equity investment
2) $250,000 will be awarded to a startup at the seed stage in the form of an equity investment
About the Climate Startup Equity PrizeThe Climate Startup Equity Prize is designed to support Québec-based climate-tech startups at critical early stages of growth. The prize aims to encourage future innovators to apply their ingenuity to climate solutions by offering Québec’s largest incentive prize for climate-tech startups. Its core objective is to help address the well-documented funding gap faced by startups at the pre-seed and seed stages, where access to capital often limits progress toward validation and scale.
Powered by Cycle Momentum, the prize is delivered through the Origo investment matching program, which provides investment-based awards aligned with market standards. All investments are subject to due diligence and final approval by Cycle Momentum.
Prizes are provided in the form of investments under an industry-standard convertible note, designed to support early-stage growth while aligning founder and investor interests.
