The Breakthrough Research Prize powered by JNF Canada in partnership with Esplande Quebec, Cycle Momentum and 2degrés, proposes to galvanize Quebec, to curb the climate crisis. It aims to support and inspire increased research and development for breakthrough climate solutions by awarding the best and the brightest not-for-profit researchers and/or organizations throughout Quebec with the prize’s funding and recognition.
The prize of $100,000 will be granted to two (2) winners, annually, in recognition of their work on promising solutions to our climate crisis.
1st place will receive $60,000 followed by the 2nd prize winner receiving $40,000.
Proposals will be evaluated by a world-class judging panel and the recipients will be announced during a live competition in Quebec which will be broadcasted, worldwide.
